We were so fortunate to find Amie to be our daughter’s piano teacher! I would wait during the lessons so I had ample opportunity to observe her methods and interaction with my daughter. Amie is kind, non-judgmental, patient and always encourages her student to try and figure something out first, instead of just handing her the solution. She would make suggestions and let her student have the freedom to interpret the music in a way that suited the student. That said, music is a discipline, so there was plenty to teach. My daughter learned everything she knows about classical music from Amie.
