Amie has given piano lessons to my two children over the past eight years. Amie has made them successful musicians, pushed for constant growth and expertise, and created a caring atmosphere where the vibe is always positive. Amie’s daylight basement studio is the perfect setting for students to have their lessons. It is roomy and spacious. She can accommodate groups of students to perform and work with each other as well as individual lesson space.
Amie’s positive, encouraging, caring interactions always made my children feel comfortable as they grew as musicians. Amie possesses a great teaching ability with young children who are beginners and it extends all the way to highly accomplished adult students. Her skill, both as a teacher and performer is amazing. She has a knack for putting students in the right book series to meet their need while also choosing musical pieces that are high interest, challenging and fun to show off to the public.
